Badminton again. It feels nice, the touch of the racket and shuttlecocks. :) The strokes were a little haywired though. Standing back in the courts again. Great! Good to meet up with the Pioneer Shuttlers. The guys are one bunch of crappy people. :) More sessions to come yeah!

Shania Twain - You are still the one?

(When I first saw you, I saw love.
And the first time you touched me, I felt love.
And after all this time, you're still the one I love.)

Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday

Bridge:
They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong

Chorus:
(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night

Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin'

(Bridge)
(Chorus)
(Chorus)

I'm so glad we made it
Look how far we've come my baby

It was a rather successful ODAC outing. Oh how I missed blading. :) I had a great time with my blades though. I learnt new skills from Yao Quan too. Haha. I need to practice or blade more often so I won't forget how to do it. :x

The weather was good. No sun at all, though it was humid. Singapore, as usual. A great meet-up after the exams. 4 generations of ODACians. The close bonds we share. Heh. :)

Dinner was at Old Airport Road before some of us (which includes 23, after some left for home) went down to the Marina Barrage. Haha. Such a big group. I think the couples there were hating our loud voices and constant bursts of laughters. :x Nevertheless, all of us had a good time there. :) There was a little girl who really entertained us for almost 30mins man. She wasn't afraid of strangers, furthermore all 23 of us staring at her and talking to her. Haha. BUT, still I find little boys cuter! :p

Homed slightly pass midnight. & there is this black, literally black, cat loitering around my estate for the past few days. I hate it! I freak out whenever I see it. Yucks! :x

Badminton with the Pioneer Shuttlers tonight. I haven't seen them for a long time. I'd better bring out my rackets and check if they are still in working condition. Boy, do I miss badminton. It's still my passion afterall. :) Passion.

I was suppose to be resting at home today, but an impromptu call from my aunt led me to my grandparents' place to mahjong! Haha. -.- That took my my whole afternoon already. I gave tuition at night before meeting Buddy for dinner. He DIDN'T make we walk around Lot One for about 50 minutes. No, he was SO punctual. Idiot Buddy. Roars! Anyway we had dinner at Mos Burger. I had sudden cravings so yup. We sat and chatted till all stores were about to close so we moved to MacDonalds and continued talking there, without a drink. :x Omg. Finally left as it was getting late. Buddy missed his last train back from Jurong East. HAHAHA! :p

Roller-blading with the ODACians tomorrow. Wooo! It's my love. Haha. :)

26 May 2009;11:36 PM

My second birthday celebration thus far. This time round it was with the 13th Ex-co, my odacians. :) Thanks to Daph! The assistant birthday in-charge for these two months. I had a great time with my fellow Gemini friends though. Not forgetting the rest of my ex-co members too.

Timbre @ The Sub-station. The service was really bad. One round of cold water served per pax only. -.- The place was freaking warm! Partly cos of the weather.. The waiters and waitresses were inefficient. Nuff' said. The companion was good, thankfully. :)

Yeap, cake cutting as usual. Haha. They didn't spare us the agony of being teased during our birthdays. Firstly, we had to blow candles.. A certain number in one blow but that didn't put us down. It was an easy task! Then, the stupid mastermind went to stick the candle right into the cake until there is barely a few mm sticking out of the cake. o.O Got my whole face filled with chocolate while trying to get that kukoo candle out!

We finally gave up and left the place at about 11pm. The liveband on a Monday night was rather horrible too. :x The gift presentation ceremony was at the carpark. LOL. Weird place, but thanks 13th for the present. :D

I was out with Mr Fish today. Ha! Went to watch 17 again, a really old show. It was funny though. Surprisingly, the cinema was about half-full, mainly a bunch of little kids from SJI. Probably some class excursion or something. :x Dinner was at Manhattan Fish Market. It was my first time there and the price was reasonably cheap. The food is good too. I will definitely go back there again. It's cheaper than Fish n Co! Haha. Chatted over dinner before leaving for home. I reached home at 9pm. Good girl eh. Thanks for the home-made barley anyway. :)

Home tomorrow, tuition at night. Rest day!

24 May 2009;11:53 PM

Okay I've been neglecting my blog since the end of the exams. I'm an due for an update real badly. Let's see how I spent my eventful weekends. :)

As usual, I was an owl on Friday night but I still couldn't believe myself that I woke up at 10am on Saturday morning. I guess my body is too used to this timing already. Feeling good still cos I don't need to touch my notes or books. I merely read the papers, bummed around on the sofa, was a potato couch before preparing to head out to meet my upper secondary school classmates.

We had lunch over at Subway before moving off to town for chilling. We didn't know what to do initially. We wanted to walk over to Cineleisure to check out the prices of using their Nintendo Wii console at E2 Max. Hahaha but scraped the idea after Lisi and Lihui had cravings for Starbucks coffeee. At close to 4pm, there isn't anywhere with available seatings at the cafes. We walked from Cineleisure to Wisma and finally settled for Burger King at Wheelock Place. Haha. How pathetic. -.- But nevertheless, we still had a good time there. Catching up with each other lives, bitching about people and whatsoever. Haha!

We left in the evening and went our separate ways. Litchie went to meet her friend, so it's left with myself and Yx. We accompanied her till her friend came. Hahaha! And I was laughing away with Yx we were really being a bitch. Oops! :p Yx was nice to accompany me though cos I was waiting for dearest Best Friend, Buddy and Sam to meet me for dinner! They were really slow and they only met me at 7.30pm. -.- I was rotting away with Yx already. We walked around Wisma a million times lo (Okay I am exaggerating) Haha. We were really bored luh!

Finally, the 3 of them came, like finally. Yx decided to join us for dinner and I accompanied her cos otherwise she has to eat maggie mee alone at home or something. See, I'm such a nice girl. Haha. :) We decided on Yoshinoya for dinner at Taka. The other places were really really crowded. Orchard on a Saturday night. We met dearest Litchie at Mos Burger! No! It's actually more of, thanks to Sheila who has really sharp eyes. Being bitches again, we went to TALK to her and made friends with her friend. Hahaha!

We offered her to join us after dinner. We are such friendly people while Yx made her way home. Haha. Went down to Buddy's house to get the car and we went to Vivo. Sam wanted to bring us to try the ice-cream at Awfully Chocolate. We had it at the rooftop of Vivo and it was really humid. The weather is just plain crazy these few months. It was nice there, we spent time chatting, having a really sweet chocolate ice cream. It was concentrated, real good. :) But I think the cake is better. Ha.

We met up with a little commotion in the carpark upon leaving. Anyhow, we could settle it well. :) Initially wanted to go down to Labrador Park to chill out but changed our mind cos Litchie said she hasn't been to Henderson Waves before. It was really crowded along the bridge. It doesn't have the nice ambience there though. People smoking...! Making alot of noise. o.O Anyhow, I couldn't care more.

Instead, I indulged myself in the conversation with Best Friend and Buddy. Nice nice. :) :) Said many things which has been on my mind for really long and I'd no chance to pour it out till that night. There is only 1 person whom I can really confide in. Not forgetting Buddy, who always hear me whine too. Haha.

We finally left at 1am cos Litchie was whining already. Jun Han and Sam was falling asleep too. Haha. Though we can actually carry on till day breaks, I believe we will never run out of things to say. :p

It was already 1+am and we were getting hungry. We decided to head down to Selegie for beancurd, but the famous Rochor one was sold out already. -.- Since we were already there, we just settled down for the one next door. It wasn't as good though, I won't have it next time anymore. Haha.

Left at 2+ am and I sent everyone home. From Farrer Park to Redhill to Jurong then back to CCK. I was dead tired when I reached home at about 4am. :x Haha. I showered and waited for my hair to dry till I gave up and slept at 5am.

A nice group photo for the night. :)

I woke up at 8am this morning! Omg less than 3 hours of sleep. :x Dead tired. My hair was still damp when I woke up lo. I still showered. Met Sam and we made our way to Buddy's house for Mahjong! Woohoo! We met so early cos I had to leave in the evening for a family dinner.

We were joking around while playing. Haha. I almost killed Buddy during the few hours that we were playing or I felt like taping his mouth so he couldn't talk! Ha!

I took a cab to Dempsey. Had dinner at Jumbo seafood restaurant with my family.. my aunts & uncles, my cousins and my grandparents.. A once in a while family reunion is nice though. Haha. We hardly have the time to meet up with each other because of everyone's busy individual schedule. Headed for desserts at Ben n Jerrys. It's funny cos my aunts & uncles haven't been there before. They were rather amazed by the environment and ambience the people there. Bringing my grandparents for ice-cream was also funny. Glad Ah Gong enjoyed his ice cream though. :)

It was a Sunday night, little cousins have school the next day. Can't stay out too late so here I am now, home & blogging. Ha. I need a good sleep, like really badly. :) Bye!

23 May 2009;1:18 AM

It's the 2nd day of my 4 month long holidays! :D

It was a nice day spent after the horrifying exams yesterday! I finally met babeights! Like after sooooooooooooooooooo LONG. I missed them. :) It was a fun night out too. I bet Simin enjoyed herself thoroughly. A well-deserved break, she would say. HAHA. Now, I'm looking forward to the 13th of June. Though I can anticipate a supper coming out soon, maybe next week. No supper is definitely not Babeights' style. :p Am I right, my friends??

Yes Angela, the cab fare is $7 in total. Ha.

I went out with my official talk cock buddy today. We really talk cocked luh. He can be my bitching partner also. Omg! Haha. It was quite nice though. It is my 1st day to town after the exams! Retail therapy can be so much more relaxing. Furthermore, I had a tortoise friend entertaining me. :p I want to look for some things but I have yet to see any thing that caught my attention. Oh wells. I shall do so when I start working and earning more moo-lahs! :)

We went over to Vivocity and he accompanied me while I waited for my parents.& brother. Met Y-club for dinner to celebrate the May babies' birthdays and mine too. Hehe. I am the only odd June baby luh. -.- Anyhow, I was really surprised. I received my first birthday present today. That made me a really happy girl! :) :) Heh. I loved the present loads. Like, really. Gotta thank Mummy though cos she was the main shareholder. Hehe. We then watched Night at the Musuem 2. It was so-so only. I guess I'm no longer really interested in movies already, unless they have really good reviews or comments or it's a genre that interests me.

More activities planned in the week ahead! :) Meeting some secondary school friends tomorrow. Heh. Bye!

20 May 2009;11:42 AM

Hello everyone! My exams are coming to an end real soon! :)

It's time to date me out. 21st May. 1.01pm. Hoho. I miss you girls dearly. <3

I miss this group of friends badly too! :) I can't wait for 7th and 13th June!

Lalalala. My conversation with Litchie and Angela perked me up admist a boring day before my exams. I love you, bitches! :D

19 May 2009;12:50 PM

I have this sudden urge to blog.

A few days back, a friend of mine posed me this question. He asked. What will you do if you find out that your good friend lied to you? Will you confront her? Or will you just pretend that you don't know?

This question got me thinking. It took me on a walk down memory lane.. My reply was a lesson learnt based on my experience.

Oh wells..

On a side note, I feel loved. Really blessed. :) I'm happy.

16 May 2009;4:05 PM

I am 4/5 done. 1/5 more to go!

I almost left the exam hall a popsicle despite wearing 2 jackets! My mum asked if i wanted to wear thermal. Haha. -.-

Yes! My schedule after exams are filling up already. 3 weekends fully booked! Woohoo! Date me people, 21st May. Liberation.

PBF shall be my very best friend next year. :)

12 May 2009;2:57 PM

2 down, 3 more to go.

At the end of 1 hour or so, I would be freezing already. Even though I'm in jeans and a jacket. Hahahaha! My fingernails were turning purple too. o.O The paper is only 2 hours by the way. Looks like I can't battle the aircon in Expo Hall 3.

I'm going to bring 2 jackets into the hall for my 3 hour papers!

Bye!

;12:23 AM

Omg! I'm filled with envy after watching Shaun Chen and Michelle Chia's wedding on tv just now. It's so grand! A hundred tables. 3 gowns. Crystals and everything. Beetles as wedding cars. Dessert buffet! Hahaha! It makes me wanna get married too! But where is my sunshine boy? =(

Hahaha. Okay, stop dreaming and get back to the books!

08 May 2009;2:41 PM

I'm still alive and kicking, my dear friends. :)

I just conquered Statistics Paper today.
Thought it was easier then Alevels though..
Haha maybe cos I studied more.
But the time management was rather bad.
Oh wells..

1 down, 4 more to go.
21st May! :D

1 month & 1 day more too,
to my Big 20!
I'm so excited,
Cos the guys in babeights are planning for the geminis!
Anticipating..
A simple yet filled with love affair. :)
